Esto trae a mi mente cuando en el velorio de “El Tigre”,  el Dr. Lusinchi (en ese momento candidato presidencial) se me acercó para darme el pésame y abrazándome me dijo: “¡coño se nos fue el Tigre carajo, un día muy triste para todos!”. 

El Dr. Héctor Simosa Alarcón falleció en la Ciudad de Caracas el 19 de octubre de 1983.
